How I Spent April 2013
Tired, uninspired, over-worked, too much school, not a chance to stay outside and enjoy the weather, no fun, the greatest critic of all time died, and I have to take the S.A.T's tomorrow! How do you think I felt this month! I took makeup inspiration from Jane of Disney's Tarzan though. I can't believe how obvious the animators make the makeup look and yet it looks so natural on me!

How I spent March 2013
This was actually a fairly decent month. I'm getting well into Harry Potter, and read Alice In Wonderland, which is quite a good read and the Disney movie is on my Top 10. March is also Women's History month. I took on a gypsy look with heavy eyeliner and jewelry and I'm happy to say that with my current hairstyle, I do look like Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (her and Jasmine from Aladdin share a set in my Disney Princess collection). Then there's Spring Break where I'm free from the prison bars of school. I also got to see P!nk at Nassau Coliseum! It was a fantastic show and I got to TOUCH HER PINK LIMO! It was a fantastic month!

Go Watch The Princess and the Frog

Go Watch The Princess and the Frog
Top 3 of my favorite Disney animated movies. The main character's admirable, independent and hardworking; she's my second favorite Disney princess. The other characters are fun and energetic, the villain's cool and charismatic, and the animation, setting, atmosphere and score of the movie bring me to my core. All makes you feel like you're in New Orleans and the bayou and it's so wonderful and captivating to look at. It also has my favorite messages in ANY Disney film. I just adore this film. It's one of those films that make me happy instantly. And yet it's only my third favorite, right behind Tangled.

Disney Mulan Set
Wow, I just did this in only two hours. I just watch this movie earlier today and I really enjoyed it. Sure the films does have a lot of flaws but its saving grace is it spirit which compensates for its few technical brilliance. Mulan is a great character in how her struggle to prove herself is so relatable and the fact that women are see as just objects in China and the movie executes her struggle beautifully and she's very honorable in how caring she is. The sides characters are a ton of fun and comedy and all of the songs are awesome. The biggest problems I really have with the movie are the villain and love interest who are absolutely boring, and the third act which doesn't keep to a serious or Disney-ish climax. But you know what I can look past all that. So personally, I really love this movie and while it might not be Top 10 fav Disney 2-D animated movie material, consider it a #11 spot for me!

How I spent February 2013

How I spent February 2013
This is going to be a new thing of mine. At the end of the month I'll put how I spent it and what went through my mind. I celebrate my black heritage by wearing all black and watching The Princess and the Frog (highly recommend it), I tried to save my money but failed miserably, and I already tweeted about how I spend Valentine's Day. I also got a curly hair look with some blue hair (it's my thing), and I still wish a certain redhead Disney hunchback wasn't fictional. Quite frankly, I could care less that he looks disgusting because he's kind-hearted, treats women right, and has the sweetest heart out of all the Disney men I've seen. Just perfect for me! This month sucked for me though!
